The standard AVX tripod locks that Celestron provides are very hard on my fingers when cold – painful to clamp tight enough and painful to release. These knobs solve the problem by providing a full hand grasp on the knob. I wish they had a lower profile to the leg but are a ‘hands down’ improvement over the OEM locks. Plus I love the orange!

These were in my recent order along with the other things for my AVX. Absolutely better than the levers that are on the tripod. I can get a much better grip on these and as I am in my mid 70,s anything that makes my observing time easier for me gets a 2 thumbs up. Very nice.
I think I have all the Bling-Bling from ADM and am very happy with every item, it just all works and looks terrific.
