Description
The VPA-SYNTA-FF is a double sided female to female dovetail clamp. One side clamps onto Vixen “V” Series dovetail bars while the other side clamps the SYNTA style dovetail bar. This narrower SYNTA dovetail is found on products like the ASIAir, Svbony Finderscopes, Astromania Finderscopes as well as Orion and Vixen finderscopes. The jaws on the SYNTA side will open from 29mm to 33mm. The SYNTA side will not fit a “V” Series dovetail bar.

Purchased this to mount a guide scope mount with a synta base on my Skywatcher refractor. Unlike the synta mounting slot on the ota, this ADM adapter provides a solid, secure mount. Perhaps a bit overbuilt for it’s purpose but like all of the ADM products I have bought, it’s beautifully machined and finished.

I use this adapter block to mount my ASI Air Pro to all my refractors that I use for imaging and autoguiding. My refractors each have an ADM V-series dovetail bar (inverted) on top of the tube rings. It’s a rock solid way to carry accessories using ADM’s VPA-FF-V -series dovetail adapters . I’m a big fan of all ADM products – superbly designed and finished! Customer service is exemplary – second to none.

This dovetail adapter is extremely convenient for mounting multiple accessories. I needed something strong and secure to handle the weight and no doubt this did the trick! It also conveniently allows me to easily assemble and disassemble components for transport and storage. A great value. I highly recommend it.
