Prior to shipping, Anthony noted I’d ordered the wrong saddle adapter for my Orion Atlas Az/Eq-g Pro. He made sure I ordered the correct one. All that was required to replace the stock saddle was to loosen three grub screws on the head, pull out the old one, and drop in the ADM replacement. The “new” profile puck worked perfectly. The saddle is super stable with even my heaviest OTA (30 lb) on both vixen rails and losmandy D style wide rails. Unlike the stock saddle, the jaws on the ADM do not twist out of alignment. They remain fully aligned and in contact with the rails during both clamping and use. They feel very stable and I can’t wait to enjoy the reduced differential torsion for my guiding and imaging.
