The counterbore for the slot is so deep that the supplied cap screws will not work with my clamshell. I don’t see why it has to be so much deeper than the head for the supplied cap screws.

I wanted an Vixen dovetail bar to mount a Kirk/Arca quick release clamp to my telescope mount. The clamp easily mounted to the dovetail bar, the included screws made it easy. The 7″ bar is long enough to allow adjustment to balance the camera on the tripod clock drive. James
